On Monday 17th Dec 2007, UNFFE held a National Farmer’s Dialogue aimed at giving farmers a platform to voice their concerns nd constraints. The dialogue looked at the whole policy frameworkand boldly deliberated on whether it’s favorable to the agricultural sector.Key topics were presented and discussed that included; “Overview of the agricultural sector policy framework and its impact on service delivery to rural farmers, local governments financing and theimplications to farmers, PFA Vs PEAP, is this a policy reversal or reform? Confronting farmers’ challenges to access credit and pportunities for investment in agriculture.The following resolutions emerged out of the dialogue.
